Office of International Programs

The Office of International Programs deals with everything related to student mobility between Universidad de San Andrés and other universities. This includes undergraduate and graduate students that wish to study at UdeSA (incoming students) as well as UdeSA students that wish to study abroad (outgoing students).

I´ve studied Political Science at Universidad Católica Argentina and Education Management at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. I've been working in higher education for more than 20 years, doing research, advising, coordinating teams and managing international cooperation and student mobility. I am passionate about solving needs and problems, building bonds between people, and shaping opportunities for intercultural learning.

Luz Horne

I am the Academic Director of the Office of International Programs in San Andrés and work particularly on the Program in Latin American Studies (PLAS). I am also a Literature Professor in the Department of Humanities. I did my PhD in Latin American literature at Yale University and my Bachelor of Philosophy at the University of Buenos Aires. I was a professor at Northwestern University and Cornell University. In my classes and research I work in the area of Latin American literature and visual culture. My book Real Literature, Transformations of realism in contemporary Latin American literature, examines the relationship between word and image within literature and how this relationship impacts the representation of reality. I enjoy working with international students in San Andrés because it enriches and diversifies the university space and teaching.

I am a professional Announcer and I am currently studying a BA in Government and International Relations at UADE. My role as Coordinator of outgoing students allows me to accompany UdeSA undergraduate and graduate students during the application process to the exchange agreements that the University has with the most renowned academic institutions abroad.

Jessica Cohen

I am a Professor and have a BA in English. I also have a Higher University Diploma in Leadership and Institutional Communication. In 2016 I participated in the Foreign Language Assistant Program of pre-professional teaching to university level students at College of the Holy Cross, United States, as a cultural ambassador and as a Spanish language assistant. I have been working in international programs in higher education since 2018, and I love working with students who seek to grow in different multicultural and international environments.

Graduated in International Relations, I have been working in the area of International Education for more than 20 years. During a study abroad experience in Australia I discovered my passion for languages and travel. I consider that studying abroad is one of the most enriching experiences that we can do during our time at the University. I am also a GPP Coach and train CrossFit in my spare time

Cecilia Wolman

Spanish Professor & Spanish Programs Coordinator

I received my Bachelor of Arts and teaching degree in Linguistics and Literature at the Universidad de Buenos Aires. I teach Spanish language courses as well as advise UdeSA students who want to participate in the exchange. I have significant specialized professional training and have taught a large number of workshops and webinars on reading, writing, correction and more. I look forward to accompanying you with your learning of the Spanish language.

Pilar Reynoso

My name is Pilar Reynoso and I am from Tucumán. I started working at the Office of International Programs in 2021 and it is one of the most enriching experiences that I have had. It is a space that allows me to grow professionally with a strong international orientation, an area that is of great interest to me. I really enjoy the work environment that surrounds me as well as being able to help both foreign and local students in their exchange experiences.
